Abby Kalicka is a recognized fashion editor, brand consultant, trend forecaster, and creative strategist with a demonstrated history working with some of the industry’s biggest names. Abby’s credible insight, innovative spirit, keen eye for detail, and zeal for visual storytelling are all hallmarks of her strategic approach in helping businesses improve holistically. 

Most recently, Abby served as Fashion Director for Women’s Ready-to-Wear at Bloomingdale’s. In this role, Abby was the fashion eyes, ears, and voice for creative and business opportunities across the women’s assortment. She was responsible for establishing the seasonal fashion direction and point of view, advising on emerging trends, driving concept design for exclusives and private label product development, sourcing new vendors in the market, collaborating on original brand partnerships, and guiding fashion editorial content for all advertising and marketing initiatives. 

Abby began her career in publishing, where she worked for more than a decade at premier titles including Marie ClaireBridesSeventeen, and Cosmopolitan. As fashion editor for these top publications, Abby conceived and produced trend and lifestyle content reaching an array of audiences and demographics. 

Abby is also known for seeking and identifying up-and-coming brands, and nurturing relationships with designers, publicists, and creative talent across the industry. 

Abby holds a B.S. in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
